Causes and treatment of the car wiper not moving in rainy days

When it rains, the car wiper will not work or will not work. You can deal with it from the following aspects:
1. First refer to the vehicle manual to find out what type of wiper is used.
2. Pay attention to whether the way of connecting the support rod to the wiper rocker arm is correct, because some support arms are fixed to the rocker arm with screws, while others are locked with tabs.
3. Pull up the wiper and touch it with your fingers to check whether there is damage on the cleaned wiper and the elasticity of the rubber blade. If the blades are aged, hardened or cracked, the wiper will be broken.
4. During the test, place the wiper switch at various speed positions, and check whether the wipers at different speeds maintain a certain speed. Especially in intermittent operation, pay attention to whether the wiper maintains a certain speed when moving.
5. Check the wiper status and whether the wiper support rod swings unevenly or fails to wipe. If the following three conditions occur, the wiper is unqualified:
First, the swing is not smooth and the wiper does not beat normally;
The second is that the rubber contact surface and the glass surface can not fully fit, resulting in wiping residue;
Third, after wiping, the glass surface presents a water film state, and there are fine stripes, fog and linear residues on the glass.
6. During the test, pay attention to whether the motor has abnormal noise, especially when the wiper motor "hums" and does not rotate. This indicates that the mechanical transmission part of the wiper is rusted or stuck. At this time, the wiper switch should be turned off immediately to prevent burning the motor.
7. Some people think that the longer the wiper blade is, the larger the brush area is, and the better the field of vision is. In fact, the longer the wiper blade, the better. Although lengthening the wiper blade length can increase the visible range of vision, it will also increase the burden of wiper motor and wiper rod. Of course, it can be lengthened, but it must be guaranteed that it will not interfere with the normal operation of the wiper.
